Our Subsurface & Reservoir Engineering team host highly experienced petroleum and reservoir engineering specialists located both at the HQ-office in Norway and regionally around the globe. This includes inflow control technology subject matter experts (SME’s) within modelling, reservoir management and advanced completion design. The team is pioneering in ICD/AICD/AICV® technology applications and has developed leading modelling techniques which are applied globally.
We deliver high value technical services when designing our inflow control technology to be deployed in wells across a variety of reservoir types and operating conditions. We value collaboration and teamwork with our clients and peers as these are key success factors required to deliver exceptional results for our mission of making better well for our clients. Our passion and energy drive our entrepreneurial spirit to challenge the status quo with open mind and focus to innovate new solution and curve a new path to resolve new challenges and change the oil industry.
Research & Development
InflowControl’s in-house R&D team continuously work on improving our reservoir management technologies. The team performs testing to advance our technologies for improving oil recovery by reducing gas and water from a variety of reservoirs and this includes flow loop, erosion and drilling mud testing.

Innovation, accuracy, focus, and competence are success factors in the R&D department. The R&D department is based in InflowControl’s HQ-office in Norway, where we have industry leading development and test facilities for inflow control devices. In the advanced R&D test lab we can perform flow loop testing, erosion testing, drill/mud testing, and qualification tests for customers in accordance with industry standards. The R&D department consists of a strong team of development engineers with expertise in theoretical and experimental fluid dynamics, which always work to improve and continuously optimize our products to ensure we are Making Better Wells for our customers.
